2013 Boston Marathon "Running Shoes" Memorial

The 2013 Boston Marathon bombing was tragic. My witness of the outpouring of love and support for the victims and city which I describe as the "Running Shoes" Memorial, will remain as one of the most emotional experiences I have encountered.

My images are intended to celebrate and pay tribute to the many anonymous people that made a contribution to the memorial as a show of support for the victims, families, and the Boston community.

My photography motto is “Moments in time are lived once. Images of those moments live forever”. The goal is to share these images to remind people of the sense of humanity and community that was on display at that time and ensure the care for others continues within our society.
