Dear Mr Hineline,
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to see the photographs of Mannix's last days in St Mark's Parish. He was very dear to his family and clearly, from the evidence of your photographs, he was also very dear to his flock, which doesn't surprise me in the least.
He was a wonderful, caring man and someone I am very proud to have been related to. (He was my First Cousin once removed).
We had hoped to visit him in Ireland this year, but sadly he passed away before we could do so.
Thank you once again for posting the photos. I will be showing them to my Mum, Mannix's Cousin, when I next visit her.
God Bless You,
Ken Hopkins
